Wrap your tape measure around the front and back of the body in the area indicated, the tape measure should be held firm but not tight. Record number where tape measure meets

Guide to Measuring 

Bust
The bust measurement is taken around the fullest part of the bust.

Waist
The waist measurement is taken around the smallest section of the waist

Hip
The hip measurement is taken around the fullest part of the hips and bottom

Shoulder to Waist
Measure from your shoulder, about where your bra strap sits, to where your waist measurement was taken

Waist to Hip
Measure from where your waist measurement was taken to where your hip measurement was taken

Waist to Floor
Measure from where your waist measurement was taken at the front to the floor - remember to include the height of your shoes

Use your measurements and refer to the above chart to decide your size. This should fit with-in the three key measurements, bust, waist and hip. If your body measurements are varied from the chart, just select custom size and let us know via email. The beauty of made to measure is that we can tailor to any variance in sizing easily, helping you to achieve your perfect fit.

If you think your height measurements are varied from the chart, let us know so we can further adjust the pattern to your fit requirements.

Remember you have the option of minor alterations included in your gown purchase price so if you’re not yet exactly sure of say the length - due to your shoes, or any other measurement, it is always best to go a little bigger/longer. We can always take up or in - but we can’t add once fabric is cut.
