How much will it

For this type of
work we charge
$50 per hour, as
this tends to work
out cheaper for clients.
For bigger jobs we will cap the amount of hours or give you a fixed price.
Does it have to be a Maiden gown?
Absolutely not, we can perfect any dress to have ready for your day.
People often buy dresses online that are needing a little work and we can help to get these
perfectly fitting to you.
Do you do alterations on gowns other then bridal gowns?
Of course, we can work on any alterations, including evening wear, bridesmaids dresses,
mother of the bride or just your cute party dress.
I ordered a Maiden dress online, but it needs a few alterations. Is there a charge?
Alterations on gowns from our Made to Measure Maiden collection are included in the
price of the gown. If there are major changes to the style, the usual $45 / hr fee is charged.

How long before the event do I need to make a booking for?
6-8 weeks is the preferred amount of time for bridal alterations. Your last fitting will be around
2-3 weeks out from the wedding, which seems to be the sweet spot for people considering
pre wedding body changes. For any other dresses please try allow 3-6 weeks to give time to schedule you in.
I have an emergency - My dress has just arrived but it needs alterations before I get married next week.

Can I book in earlier than 6-8 weeks before my wedding?
Of course. The more time we have to schedule the better, especially for bigger alterations. We’ll still book the final fitting for around 3 weeks out. This will also help you to secure your spot before the busy wedding season books out.
Do I need to make an appointment?
I am not always in the studio so please make a time to come in. If you can see I am there, feel free to pop up.
Where is Maiden Bridal Boutique located?
Unit 14, 231 Dairy Flat Highway, Albany Village. Only 12 mins form the CBD with plenty of parking.
What are the payment terms for alterations?
Full payment must be cleared for dresses to be released.
Cash or direct deposit payments are accepted. We will let you know the final cost before you come in to collect.
